NCC TREK

 20th March 2021

NCC unit of Goa college of Engineering organized a Trek on 20th March 2021 at Cabo-de-rama, Canacona.Places visited were Cabo-de-rama fort and Cabo-de-rama beach.Trekking was also done from seapoint to fort.

SCI-FFI-2021

17th & 18th March 2021

The 6th Edition of Science Film Festival of India , SCIFFI 2021 was held on 17th & 18th March 2021. The event was held at ESG Panaji.Cadets from NCC Unit of Goa College of Engineering got an opportunity to attend the event.There were screening of Science feature Films, innovation Exibition and Film making workshop and master class

AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV CELEBRATIONS

 12th March 2021  

Azadi ka amrut Mahotsav was celebrated on 12 march 2021 to mark the 75th independence year.The chief guest for program was shri. Chimulkar veteran in goa’s freedom struggle.On this occasion debate competition was held among the NCC cadets of Goa College of Engineering.Many important points were discussed and it was a fruitfull debate.  Statue cleaning and garlanding the statue of Bahusaheb Bandokar at farmagudi was undertaken.

NCC TRAINING CAMP

  12th to 15th February 2021

A NCC Training camp was held on 12thto 15thFebruary 2021 and was was hosted by Goa College of Engineering.MES college NCC unit, Vasco also joined Goa College of Engineering NCC Unit in the camp.It was 3 days camp for B-certificate cadets. It was a wonderful learning experience for the cadets..

 Key learnings in Day 1 of camp were:

1. Drill ki hidayate and Word of command

2. Introduction to map reading

3. Conduct of MR, Google and Tourist Map.

4. ORG INF BN and weapon.

 Key learnings in Day 2 of camp were:

1. Observation, Camoflage and concealment

2. Biographies of renowned Generals

3. Study of battles, war heroes-PVC awardees

4. 7.62 SLR ke bare mein jankari

 Key learnings in Day 3 of camp were:

1. Rifle Drill

2. Fire and move capsule

3. Field signals and section formations

4. Fire control orders

REPUBLIC DAY PARADE 2021

On the 72th Republic Day, a parade was held by NCC unit of Goa College of Engineering. The newly recruited NCC cadets of first year participated in this parade.

GOA LIBERATION DAY 2020

The 60th Goa Liberation Day was celebrated on 19th December 2020.The chief guest for the program was prof. Sripad Sheldarkar.A parade was held by NCC unit of Goa College of Engineering on this day.
