Celebration of National Unity Day via Google meet,

30th Octomber 2020

GEC-NSS unit celebrated National Unity Day on 30th October 2020 which was attended by staff and students of Goa College of Engineering. Prof.Ganesh V. Manerkar welcomed the gathering. The Principal In- charge Prof Ulhas Sawaikar spoke on the occasion and expressed his views on the importance of this day.

First Anniversary of Fit India Movement,

24th  September 2020

NSS Faculty officers as well as students of Goa College of Engineering participated in the celebration of the First Anniversary of Fit India Movement held on  September 24th 2020 via online mode. This celebration had the participation of the Hon’ Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi. It was also graced by a number of sports personalities and fitness enthusiasts.

Webinar on National Education Policy

16th September 2020

GEC-NSS unit attended a webinar on National Education Policy on 16th September 2020. This webinar was held by Ministry of Education.  Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh was the chief guest of the webinar. Union Education Minister Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports (Independent Charge) Shri Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Education, Shri Sanjay Dhotre were present on the occasion. He hoped that volunteers from NYKS, NSS, NCC and coordinators of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan will play crucial role in the successful implementation of this education policy designed in accordance with the aspirations of young India.
