NCC TRAINING CAMP 2022
8th & 14th January 2022
A NCC Training camp was held from 8 th to 14 th January 2022 and was hosted by Goa college of
Engineering. It was a wonderful learning experience. It was five-day camp for B-certificate cadets and
seven-day camp for C certificate cadets. Rank Ceremony was also held during the camp.
Key learnings of camp were:
1. Drill ki hidayate and Word of command
2. Introduction to map reading
3. Conduct of MR, Google and Tourist Map
4. ORG INF BN and weapon
5. Observation, Camoflage and concealment
6. Biographies of renowned Generals
7. Study of battles, war heroes-PVC awardees
8. 7.62 SLR ke bare mein jankari and etc..
This time cadets got a good opportunity to handle firing on day 5 of camp. It was a memorable moment
for cadets. Cadets were taken to a firing range at INS MANDOVI, Panajim. Cadets were taught to handle
weapons and learn position of firing.
