The students of Goa Engineering College have a great legacy of excelling in both academics and sports; and it's their compassion and zest for sports that they proudly present Blitz 2011, an inter-college sports festival that strives to put the best sportspersons from colleges across the state of Goa head to head over a three day battle, from 17th March to 19th March 2011, to determine who is the true champion.

The main objective behind Blitz 2011 is to have an indigenous blend of talent, skill, endurance, and to provide a platform for students to excel and showcase their talent.

"Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached".

 Registration Rules

Sports Secretary/co-ordinator must register their college between 28th February and 12th March 2011
Registration should be done in person at the College Library, GEC campus on above mentioned dates.
Confirmation of each event will be done on First Come First Serve basis.
Number of teams required for an event will be decided by Blitz Organizing Committee.
 

General Rules

Teams must compulsorily bring the letter of conformation signed by the head of the institute mentioning the names of the participants, at the time of registration.
Any changes in the registration of the participants will be allowed only between 9.00 AM to 9.45 AM on the respective days. Thereafter no changes will be allowed.
Team members should produce photocopies of their College ID Cards (Valid for the current year) at the registration desk at the time of reporting. failure in doing so will lead to disqualification of the player.
The decision of the umpires/arbiters will be final and binding upon all.
Any misconduct will lead to the disqualification of the team.
The team should report half an hour before the match. Late reporting will lead to disqualification of the team.
Right of admission is reserved by the Blitz Organizing Committee.
