Installation ceremony of IT Students Association

The installation ceremony of the Information Technology Students Association, INTENSA 2018-2019 was held on 29th August 2018. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri. Rohan Khaunte, Honourable Minister for Information Technology, Revenue and Labour & Employment Govt. of Goa. The Guest of Honour was Shri. Siddhesh Kurade Vice President and Delivery Head for ISV and Emerging Verticals at Persistent Systems, Verna Goa
After the customary lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries, the guests were introduced and called upon to say a few words on the occasion. The newly elected Council Members then took the oath and were handed over badges along with their new responsibilities.
Ms Joythi Karandikar Iyer a Senior Systems Analyst at Infosys Technologies Ltd and Founder of Stademy Information Technology and Services Sydney, Australia was felicitated for organizing a work-shop on Block-Chain Technology. The Guest of Honour Shri. Siddhesh Kurade gave a talk on recent technologies and their aspects. The event ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Intensa Faculty Advisor, Prof. Ganesh Manerkar.
