Other Achievements of the Department
• GEC has signed a MoU with Indian Plumbing Association, New Delhi at Goa on 09-07-2021. This MoU is about setting up a “Centre of international plumbing Advancements and Practices” at Goa college of Engineering Campus. The Laboratory is under PPP model and investment by IPA is about Rs. One Crore. GEC has agreed to spare land for set up of the said unit.
• Vibration analysis for Times of India Building at New Delhi – 15 Lakhs consultancy agreed, approved
• Generated almost 10Lakhs as Revenue by Testing and Consultancy in spite of Pandemic
• All PG students are given advanced Internships industry based for one full semester • PG in Foundation Engineering is restarted and restored with revised syllabus
• Department is having 4 research recognized guides and another faculty will join the team soon.
