Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department offers a full-fledged Under-Graduate program with special emphasis on Digital communication and Signal processing.
A Digital signal-processing laboratory was set up with an assistance of Rs. 6.00 Lakhs form AICTE. This has facilitated the department to offer advanced courses in DSP by using software tools like MATLAB, etc. The department is also keen to undertake industry-related projects in related areas.
Presently few undergraduate projects are in progress in various industries with the academic support of the department.
Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) has established its local centre in the college, in the year 1996-97.
Regular short-term courses are offered to school going children during vacation under the scheme ‘ SUSIE’ (Summer school in Electronics) of IETE. Facilities for conducting such courses have been made available by IETE. The courses offered are mainly in the area of Electronics and IT.
