The Electrical Engineering Department has always strived to achieve the best in the field.
The Electrical Engineering Department has a Yearly intake of sixty students purely on merit basis. In addition to this, a few seats are reserved for diploma holders in Electrical Engineering from polytechnics for direct admission to second year as well as nominees of Govt. of India which are reserved for students from socially and economically backward regions of the country.
The Faculty includes regular, qualified and knowledgeable staff with requisite experience and qualification, professionals with industrial expertise and guest faculties for emerging technologies.

The Electrical Engineering Department has well-equipped laboratories and a workshop having a multitudinous, array of equipments to enable the students to acquire experience in handling various types of sophisticated state of the art equipments and machinery.
